Viola Davis Just Won the Emmys Red Carpet with Her Stunning Black and White Outfit
Everyone can go home now, Viola Davis won the red carpet.
The How to Get Away with Murder star made her way down the carpet in a stunning Alberta Ferretti black and white dress. Talk about how to get away with slaying the fashion game.
If you take a closer look, you can see how she upgraded the ensemble with a wrap-around bodice, a mini sleeve and Forevermark diamond necklaces.
She was all smiles with her husband by her side as she got ready for her second nomination for HTGAWM. Davis won the lead actress category at the 67th Emmy Awards for the hit ABC show, where she delivered an emotional and powerful speech about making history for being the first African American to win. She was decked out in a white gown at the time, so the color choice clearly can be a great good luck charm.
Viola spilled her routine to Vanity Fair on how she prepares (before embarking through a night of awards and mingling with celeb friends) from getting glam around 11 a.m. to relaxing in the jacuzzi with her husband for relaxation and skin detoxing.
She also expressed how she started embracing her natural hair, presenting it proudly on the red carpet this evening. "I'm on the big-'fro idea–I've stayed on that for the last couple of years," she expressed.
The awards shows may be about the trophy, but Viola Davis's outfit is the true winner of the night.
