This video of Jennifer Garner on laughing gas will make you laugh

Everyone else can stand back, because Jennifer Garner is officially Hamilton’s biggest fan.

Who can argue with that after the Instagram newbie shared a throwback video clip of herself losing it while talking about the Broadway show? To be fair, she was not exactly herself at the time. As Garner explained alongside the clip she posted on Instagram, she had just left the dentist and … you know how that goes.

“Throwback Thursday — that time I had dental anesthesia…laughing gas + novocaine + Hamilton = you’re welcome. #TBT @hamiltonmusical,” she captioned it.

Yes, Garner should be thanked, because the footage is pretty hilarious, as it shows her talking on speakerphone to someone — although she’s the one doing all the talking — while crying and maybe laughing at times. All the while, she’s insisting that the music from the show being played was “so beautiful.” That part we got.

Of course, Garner was totally right, and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s original score for the show won the 2016 Tony Award in the category. It also snagged the honor for best new musical and came just one award short of breaking the record for winning the most honors in one night.

This has to be some consolation.
