'Vanderpump Rules' Star Ariana Madix Sues Ex Tom Sandoval
Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix attend the Friends and Family Opening at Schwartz & Sandy's with the cast of 'Vanderpump Rules' at Schwartz & Sandy's Lounge on July 26, 2022, in Los Angeles, Calif.
"Scandoval" may be in Vanderpump Rules fans' review mirror, but the drama between exes Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix is far from over—because Madix just filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend.
On Friday, Jan. 5, TMZ reported that Madix filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court regarding the San Fernando Valley house they co-own.
Legal documents show she is seeking a "partition by sale," meaning a judge would order them to sell the property and then divide the proceeds. In 2019, the couple purchased the home for roughly $2 million.
During a Dec. 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, per Bravo TV, Madix answered a question from a virtual audience member about her living situation. She explained that during her stint on Dancing with the Stars Season 32 (during which she placed third overall), she had "been in an Airbnb with my dog and my cat and some of my things, but I regularly go back and forth."
Madix added: "I'm working on the situation with the ownership of the house. I would love for that to be resolved quickly."
In March 2023, Sandoval and Madix split after nine years of dating when she learned he was having an affair with their Vanderpump Rules cast mate, Raquel Leviss. The news went public shortly after the split, sending shockwaves across the fandom.
Leviss posted a public apology (which she since deleted) days later, writing on Instagram: "I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions. I deeply regret hurting Ariana."
Hopefully, Sandoval and Madix quickly resolve their property situation so they can both move on with their lives.
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premieres on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
