Uzo Aduba Makes Big Reveal at the 2023 Tony Awards

Uzo Aduba is pregnant! The Orange Is the New Black star revealed at the 2023 Tony Awards that she's expecting her first child with filmmaker husband Robert Sweeting. Like Serena Williams and Karlie Kloss before her, the actress shared her happy news by showing up to a red carpet with a surprise baby bump. Her rep also confirmed the news to People.

Aduba unveiled her bump in an orange suit (fitting!) by Christian Siriano. "The happy couple is over the moon about their growing family and are excited to be parents," a source told People.

The 42-year old Emmy-winner married her husband in 2020 and marked their anniversary the following year on Instagram. "For some of us, it can feel like we spend our whole lives waiting for our special someone," she wrote. "My heart, my love—I'm so happy my life started last year with you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me."
