Union County Historical Society meets May 11

LA GRANDE — The Union County Historical Society has resumed its meetings on the second Saturday of every month. Meetings are held in the log cabin at the Union County Fairgrounds in La Grande.
A potluck begins at noon, followed by a presentation at 1 p.m.
The May 11 gathering will feature a presentation by Tami Murphy on genealogy. Murphy has used genealogical searches to help with family history, cold cases, locating missing persons and adoptions. The public is welcome to attend.
