UNDEFEATED Reworks the Converse Weapon in 2 New Colorways
This summer, Converse and UNDEFEATED seamlessly blended their shared heritage in sport with modernized detailing to present a collaborative take on the Weapon. Influenced and informed by the hustle of the game and contemporary street style, the capsule draws inspiration from UNDEFEATED’s signature camouflage print and is presented in two colorways.
The two brands have worked together to explore a range of classic Converse icons, including the Chuck 70 and One Star, presenting takes through the lens of sport and utility while staying true to the DNA of UNDEFEATED.
In 2021, the partnership introduced a collaborative Chuck 70 Mid, which drew inspiration from military aesthetics, including camouflage, and inspired the colorways of this newest Weapon capsule. And now, they take on the Weapon.

Featuring a full leather Vintage White upper, the Converse x UNDEFEATED Weapon is subtle in its update to allow the silhouette to shine in its detail. Custom branded UNDEFEATED and PLAY DIRTY collection logos are printed on the lateral and medial Y-bar, while the heel touts an embossed UNDEFEATED logo that sits atop an Egret cupsole.
The UNDEFEATED 5-strike logo is also wrapped around a woven label on the tongue, and a nod to UNDEFEATED roots in Los Angeles is seen on the sock liner and tongue label in a Chive colorway, while a nod to its forthcoming New York location is similarly embedded within the Castle Wall colorway. Both pairs are secure with a custom lace branded with printed logos on the aglets.
Where the iconic “Choose Your Weapon” campaign once fostered rivalry, Converse is using the recently reintroduced silhouette as a vehicle to cultivate community and connection.

To drive this home, Converse and UNDEFEATED tapped into communities around the world to showcase their collaborative take on the silhouette through the lens of burgeoning creatives. The brands enlisted multi-disciplinary creatives to capture a series of still and motion shots in Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris that feature the Weapon in their communities.
Leaning into the Weapon’s youthful arrogance and UNDEFEATED’s Play Dirty mentality, the crews celebrated the day-and-night wearability of the silhouette that stands up to the energy of these urban cities. In addition to the crew-led content, the official campaign imagery was shot by photographer Alexis Gross.
The Converse x UNDEFEATED Weapon in Chive will be available via UNDEFEATED LA and Undefeated.com beginning September 2, and launch details for Converse x UNDEFEATED Weapon in Castle Wall will be announced at a later date. The collection will go on sale via Converse.com and SNKRS beginning September 14, 2023.
