‘Supernatural’ Star Jared Padalecki Was Reportedly Arrested for Assault in Texas
Supernatural star Jared Padalecki has reportedly been arrested in Texas for assault and public intoxication.
Jared's bond is set at $15,000 and it's unclear at this point whether or not he's been bailed out.
Today in woof news, Supernatural star (otherwise known as Dean from Gilmore Girls) Jared Padalecki has reportedly been arrested in Texas for assault and public intoxication. Which...yikes. TMZ reports that Jared was arrested by police early Sunday morning outside of a lounge/club called Stereotype that he "tends to frequent quite often," according to the outlet.
The actor reportedly faces two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication, and TMZ spoke to eyewitnesses who had some details to share. Turns out Jared allegedly "struck a bartender in the face" and—as TMZ puts it—"got into it with the general manager of the place, and allegedly struck him in the face as well."
The outlet has a video from the incident, where you can see someone trying to calm down Jared and put him in a headlock. The actor was eventually arrested (which you can also see in the footage), and apparently he pulled out "a wad of cash" and started "flashing it" at officers. Which we can all agree is a tough look for our dude.
TMZ reports that Jared's bond is set at $15k (that's $5,000 per charge) and it's unclear at this point whether or not he's been bailed out.
