It's a Trump family weekend at Camp David — but where's Melania?
Melania Trump is still keeping to herself — this time while her family vacations at Camp David.
On Friday, President Trump boarded Marine One with the rest of his family — children Ivanka and Tiffany, Donald Jr., and son-in-law Jared Kushner — traveling to Camp David, a quiet presidential retreat in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountain Park first established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and enjoyed by first families ever since. But CNN reported that Melania opted to spend the weekend at the White House.
FLOTUS hasn’t been seen since May 10 in her last official public duty. Then, on May 14, the 48-year-old was hospitalized for a benign kidney condition for which she required an embolization procedure and spent the following week recovering.
On Wednesday, the first lady tweeted an assurance:
I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing. Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!

And official spokesperson Stephanie Grisham told People that Melania “has been involved in several internal meetings with staff all last week, and that continues this week. We’ve been going over initiatives and other long-term planning for events such as the Congressional Picnic and 4th of July.”
But Melania’s nonattendance is always newsworthy: On Wednesday, People reported that it was Ivanka, not Melania, who helped the president host “White House Sports and Fitness Day.”
In January, CNN reported that, due to “scheduling and logistical issues,” she had canceled her trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where the president delivered remarks; that was after a Wall Street Journal report that the president had paid off former adult film star Stormy Daniels to hide their alleged affair.
On Friday, Melania’s absence became a joke on Twitter.
Melania Trump has been missing for longer than Anthony Scaramucci was employed.

Melania Trump has not been seen in 21 days now.
I wonder if she is with the 1,475 missing immigrant children that the Trump Administration lost.
