Travis Kelce Seems Like the Perfect Fit for Taylor Swift After Old Relationship Comments Resurface

As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's romance continues to flourish, many fans are looking to the past to try and find signs that the couple's relationship was meant to be.

Based on a past interview with Swift dating all the way back to 2009, Kelce seems like the perfect fit for what she wants in a partner.

In the interview with Glamour, when the singer was only 19 years old, the publication asked Swift if she would ever date anyone as successful as she is.

"I think it's more a question of confidence. I wouldn't want to be with a pushover who would let me make all the plans and have all the control," she answered. "It's really natural for me to go into planning mode, but I'd rather be with someone who has his own voice and passion and ambition."

She also didn't shy away from a long-distance relationship where she'd be "flying to see him and flying him places to see [her].”

“It feels like it would involve more scheduling, and I already deal with a lot of scheduling in my life,” she noted at the time.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end fits this description very well, with Kelce well-known for his bright and confident personality. As for planning, the two appear to be successfully traveling a lot and working around their busy schedules, with multiple reports of Kelce planning parties or dates for Swift.

Back in November, Kelce took a break from the football field to attend Swift's Eras Tour show in Argentina, while Swift used her holiday break to support her beau at his football games.

Also in line with Swift's past comments, Kelce often shows off his personal ambition both on and off the field. While many know of his podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother and fellow football player Jason Kelce, he also has his own clothing line called Tru Kolors.

Swift and Kelce seem to be a true power couple, and fans can't get enough.
