Trader Joe’s Just Brought Back Fan-Favorite Fall Snack, and Shoppers Say They 'Can't Stop Eating It'
In my personal opinion, maple is one of the most underutilized fall flavors out there, and it’s about time the delicious syrupy ingredient got its time in the cozy season spotlight. Sure, we drizzle buckets of the sticky, sweet amber-colored goo on our pancakes, French toast and waffles year round—but there’s something about indulging in the complex yet delicate flavor of delectable maple syrup during the cozy season months that just hits a bit different.
If we're being honest here, what would pumpkin even be without supporting flavors like maple, cinnamon and brown sugar to make it taste better than it ever could on its own? Sounds like we made the wrong latte famous if you ask me.

Opinions aside, maple has been getting quite a bit of well-deserved love this year, with items like Costco’s Maple Butter Pecan Bar Cake and the long-awaited return of Trader Joe’s one-ingredient Organic Maple Butter Spread hitting the market to raucous applause from fans. Fortunately for us maple lovers, the buck doesn’t stop there because TJ’s just gave us another insanely good maple-flavored find that fans are saying they “can’t stop eating.”
So what new, tantalizing maple-y treat is it, you ask? Brace yourself, friends—the Maple and Sea Salt Kettle Corn is the new snack we're talking about. TJ’s super fan, @traderjoesobsessed, recently shared the drool-worthy snack on Instagram, and we’ve already cleared space for at least four bags in our pantry.
Made simply with popcorn popped in a coconut and high-oleic sunflower oil blend, this easy-to-munch-on snack gets a fall-ready flavor boost from a sprinkling of sea salt and sweet maple glaze, kicking the usual salty-sweet taste of kettle corn up a notch. In addition to being gluten-free and kosher, you can also rest assured that you won’t find any artificial flavors being used, which is typical to TJ’s usual fashion.
Although it’s not labeled as limited-time, odds are, you won’t find this addictive seasonal delicacy hanging around for too long. And at just $2.99 for a 7-ounce bag, we can see why shoppers are stocking up.
Now, in terms of enjoying this crunchy, maple-glazed treat, we recommend tossing it into a mixture of brown butter and melted marshmallows for a scrumptious autumnal take on popcorn balls. Of course, we’re not judging if you down an entire bag before you leave the parking lot, either. You do you, bestie!
