How Todd Chrisley Is Feeling About Spending Holidays Away From Family Amid Incarceration
Todd Chrisley
It's not the most wonderful time of the year for Todd Chrisley.
The 54-year-old is not particularly feeling the holiday spirit, as he will be spending Thanksgiving and Christmas behind bars for the first time.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum’s attorney Jay Surgent told TMZ on Tuesday, Nov. 21, that the TV personality is “very upset about his situation” and feeling “disgruntled” about having to spend the holidays “around other inmates instead of loved ones.”
While both Todd and wife Julie—who reported to prison in January after being found guilty of bank fraud and tax evasion—will continue to serve prison time, the outlet reported that daughter Savannah, who has been providing updates on her parents along the way, is expected to visit the two at some point over the holidays.

As Parade previously reported, though the couple have each been able to get their sentences reduced—Todd having two years shaved off his 12-year sentence, and Julie having one year removed from her 7 years—they still have quite a ways to go before their release.
Todd's attorney also told the outlet they are still exploring legal strategies for how to get him home even earlier, noting that a new court date has been set for March, where his legal team will try to reverse his conviction.
Additionally, despite Savannah alleging her parents have been experiencing foul living conditions while confined, TMZ was told Todd has been making the most of his situation, emerging as a leader amongst prisoners while giving advice and direction, as he believes he's on a mission from God.
