Tim Allen Reveals Toy Story 5 Is on the Way
Tim Allen had fans buzzing when he appeared on Jimmy Fallon and let slip that Toy Story 5 is on the way.
Fallon asked, "You don't have to say if it's true or not, but I would love it if you did. Is there a Toy Story 5?"
Allen had no trouble answering, immediately saying, "Bob Iger, head of Disney, said it was on. He actually said that it was going to happen. They have reached out to Tom and I to reprise the roles. They're not saying anything about it."
He went on to say, "What it is, for people like me... I'm a sci-fi buff, and you wonder if four was too many. Is five gonna be too much?" which he followed with, "The writer that's doing it wrote one of the better ones, and he said 'if I didn't get this right, I wouldn't do it.' So it could be a very, very interesting way to reunite it".
So Woody, Buzz and the gang could be lighting up our screens shortly with a new adventure.
Where we left them in Toy Story 4 was Woody choosing to stay behind with Bo Peep while Buzz and the rest of the toys returned home to Bonnie.
Many described it as the perfect ending, but the makers of Toy Story keep surprising us by delivering profound new updates to the saga. It'll be interesting to see what the toys get up to next.
