Terrifying Downhill Race Clip Reemerges

Enduro and downhill racing are dangerous activities. Racers attempt to extract every ounce of speed from the course and ride at the absolute limit.

Riding on the edge like this is fast. Sometimes, however, it ends poorly. Watch Kerenza Scott have a brutal fall in a Downhill race below.

This clip, which was from a 2022 Root 1 downhill series race at Rogate, was reposted by the popular instagram page enduro_girlsteel. The video certainly fits the image that that page cultivates. Kerenza slammed and got up like it was nothing.

The commenters were impressed. One wrote: She took that crash like a champ and absorbed the impact pretty well. Hopefully she’s okay!”

Another fan said: “Hard as nails @kerenzaaaaa ??.”

Thankfully for Scott, this was her second run of two, and she was satisfied with her first. She got second on the day in the 19-29 category.

This gnarly crash did not stop Kerenza at all. She has not finished out of the top 2 in a race since!
