Tennis Star Naomi Osaka Is Officially a Mom
Naomi Osaka is now a first-time mom!
The tennis pro, 25, and boyfriend Cordae have welcomed their newborn daughter in Los Angeles, PEOPLE reported on Tuesday, July 11.
It's not yet clear when exactly the little one arrived, but a source told the outlet that both baby and mom are "doing well."
The all-star athlete—who has won four Grand Slam singles championships—announced back in January that she and the rapper, 25, were expecting a sweet bundle of joy.
She shared a sonogram picture to her Instagram page at the time, giving her followers a "little life update" while making the exciting announcement.

"The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that it's the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun," Osaka wrote in her caption at the time. "These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I've dedicated my life to."
"I realize that life is so short, and I don't take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure," the post continued.

"I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future," Osaka stated, adding, "One thing I'm looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, 'that's my mom,' haha."
While mom may be her current title, she previously hinted that she'd return to the tennis court in the near future. "2023 will be a year that'll be full of lessons for me and I hope I'll see you guys in the start of the next cause I'll be at Aus 2024," she concluded. "Love you all infinitely."
