Monday Muscle
Teacher’s Warehouse is looking for some Monday Muscles! They need volunteers who can help them Monday afternoons to bring in heavy or bulky donations, carry large objects to shoppers' vehicles and to move boxes of books and new supplies for other volunteers. Brown County Humane Society — Barn Sale time is coming!
Brown County Humane Society needs your help to make this event as successful as possible. This is one of the only fundraisers where you don’t have to ask a single person for money! This event raised over $60,000 for the shelter last year and takes a village to reach its potential. There is no such thing as enough help during this event, and it is a great opportunity for a group or company who is looking for a volunteering project! Multiple opportunities are available; Donation Days Help is needed Aug. 2-7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Main need is pricing donated items. If pricing isn’t your cup of tea, there is also a need for help unloading donations, cleaning items, sorting and organizing to prep for the sale. Drool in the Pool
When Mills Pool closes for humans, it is open for two more days for swimming for your canine friends! Volunteers are needed on Aug. 7 and 8 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. or from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed to interact with dogs and their owners while keeping the area clean and safe, and to assist with dog check-in. On-site training provided. Volunteers 16 years and older are welcome, volunteers under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian and must bring it with them when they arrive for their shift.
