Taylor Swift was head over heels when Travis Kelce stepped up to the DJ booth at a Super Bowl LVIII afterparty so he could jam out to “You Belong With Me,” a Swift classic from her 2008 album Fearless.
Fresh off the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, the Chiefs tight end and Swift were seen pointing at each other from across the room at the party, grinning as they appeared to sing along to the lyrics. Videos showing the couple dedicating the song to each other quickly spread on social media, further exciting fans of the Swift-Kelce romance during one of the power couple’s particularly powerful moments.
In a new video clip that has already made its rounds across social media, Swift, 34, described her reaction to Kelce’s “You Belong With Me” gesture at the Chiefs' afterparty.
“That was the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me,” Swift said in the video, which was reposted on X by a Swift fan account. She recalled wondering, “What is happening in my life right now.”
Kelce, also 34, explained he had just been coming out of the bathroom when he heard the song begin to play. “It was perfect timing,” he said in the video.

This year’s Super Bowl marks Kelce’s second consecutive—and third overall—Super Bowl win. Though Kelce said last week that he wanted this particular win more than any other, the NFL player already has his sights set on next year and has said he wants his team to win the Super Bowl a third year in a row—a feat no team has yet accomplished.
Swift has also celebrated a major professional victory in recent days. On Feb. 4, the “Lover” songstress secured her record-breaking fourth Album of the Year win at the 2024 Grammy Awards. After collecting her trophy, Swift traveled to Japan for four scheduled Eras Tour concert dates in Tokyo, the last of which occurred on Feb. 10.
The “Anti-Hero” singer hurried back to the U.S. so she could make it to Las Vegas in time to watch her beau and his team take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs were down at halftime but came back to tie up the game, forcing it into overtime. A final touchdown secured the Chiefs’ 25-22 win.
