Taco Bell Has A New DIY Taco Bar, So You Can Have The Meal Of Your Dreams At Home
Tonight’s dinner just got so much better, because it involves a taco party that has enough food for the whole family. Taco Bell has unveiled a Home Taco Bar that lets you build your own creations for a drool-worthy meal.
Beginning on May 1 for a limited time, you can get the Home Taco Bar via delivery or at drive-thru locations. Each taco kit includes eight flour tortillas, 12 crunchy taco shells, nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, hot sauce packets, and napkins. It includes enough ingredients for six people and costs $25, which equals less than $5 a person.
Taco Bell is making sure that your meal is as delicious as possible by revealing recipe cards from the its Test Kitchen. They walk you through how to make classic dishes and even some that you’ve never seen before. So whether you’re looking for a simple Crunchy Taco or something more involved like a Double Decker Taco, Nacho Crunch Quesadilla, or 7-Layer Dip, the recipes give you each step. There are even recipe cards for Taco Bell-inspired cocktails and mocktails, like a Strawberry Freeze Tequila Sunrise and Mountain Dew Baja Blast Mexican Mule.
“Our food has always been a catalyst of bringing people together, and we’re finding new ways to do this from a safe distance until we can all be together again,” Melissa Friebe, senior vice president of brand marketing and consumer insights at Taco Bell, said in a press release. “No matter the meal they create, we’re excited to give fans a new at home Taco Bell experience.”
