Stephen 'tWitch' Boss’ Wife Allison Holker Boss Issues Emotional Statement After His Death
'I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory.'
Allison Holker Boss, the wife of Stephen "tWitch" Boss, has released a statement confirming his death.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," the 34-year-old said in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans,” she continued.
"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," she said, adding, "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
Allison ended the emotional statement by sharing a message for her late husband, writing, "Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
TMZ reported the news early Tuesday morning. The DJ—who made his mark on the Ellen DeGeneres Show—was found dead by police officers at a hotel in Los Angeles from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He is survived by his wife and three children—daughter Weslie (14), son Maddox (6), and daughter Zaia (3). The couple wed in 2013 and celebrated their ninth anniversary this past Saturday.
