Start Your Morning Strong With a Daily Devotional for Today, June 6, 2024
Daily morning devotional
Studying the Bible is something that Christians know we should be doing regularly. After all, God's Word says, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it" (Joshua 1:8, NIV).
While we understand the importance of daily study, many of us have trouble turning it into a consistent practice and spiritual discipline—especially when it might feel as though we have no free time in our busy schedules.
Fortunately, there are quick ways to start your morning (or any time of day, really) strong and rooted in our religious beliefs, which brings us to this short, daily devotional (and Bible verse of the day) for today, Thursday, June 6, 2024.

Daily Devotional
Peace. It's a "fruit of the Spirit," along with love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). But if we're being honest with ourselves, do we feel like we are exuding these qualities regularly—or, do we naturally gravitate more toward being frazzled, overwhelmed, impatient and maybe a little sassy?
There are plenty of stressful situations we're faced with throughout our days, but in the midst of the storms, it helps to remember that God is in charge, and God has overcome the world. It's not on us to be perfect and have the exact right answers to everything—and personally speaking, that gives me a lot of peace.

Daily Prayer
Lord, thank you for reminding us that we don't have to have it all figured out. When we trust in you, we automatically feel more at peace and remember what life is really about. Amen.
