My order: This eatery with African inspired table coverings offers an eclectic blend of West African, Afro-Mex and Asian-influenced dishes along with wings and burgers. My companion and I shared a samosa, a triangular pastry filled with beef and vegetables ($2.70). For my lunch choice I opted for the Domoda, a peanut butter soup with beef and blended vegetables served with Jasmine white rice ($15.59). My companion got the Burrito filled with beef, rice, and vegetables ($12.50).

Likes: Our meals had interesting seasonings. The portions were generous. My companion enjoyed the twist of his burrito with vegetables and flavors. The menu offers a curious variety of dishes to experience.

Dislikes: The outside front of the building looks congested with signage and overgrown weeds and vegetation. I can envision the area being cleaned up and with some outdoor travel-inspired décor making for a nice outdoor dining area.

What would I order next time? I’d try the Fufu (pounded yam) with Goat Pepper Soup, seasoned goat cubes slow cooked with carrots and potatoes ($18.99) or the Jerk Chicken with rice and beans ($15.35).
