"Spring Is Here" – BC Riders Take Advantage Of Warm, Dry Conditions
Riders in the Pacific Northwest, are lucky enough to live in a climate that allows for year-round riding. Most of the time in the winter, however, the riding is wet and slippery.
The last week has been an exception to that rule and high temperatures and a lack of rain have made for rare winter hero dirt. Watch Corben Cossitt take advantage below.
In this video, Cossitt followed Ollie Lowthorpe down a spicy rock slab trail. Generally, at this time of year, a trail like this would be very slippery. Thanks to the dry weather, Cossitt is able to ride the slabs in great conditions.
With that said, water does not make Canadian slabs like this unrideable. Most of the rock there is granite, which grips decently well in any condition.
It is uncommon for it to be warm enough in the winter for riders to go gloveless. Corben takes full advantage.
