Spiritual life: Bible studies build community

LA GRANDE — The La Grande First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will worship at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 12. A Bible study for adults is held at 9 a.m. before the service each week.
Weekly small-group Bible studies are offered with the aim of building community through the study of scripture and the power of gathering together.
The current groups are Mighty Men on Mondays at 11 a.m., Bible Sleuths on Mondays at 4 p.m., and Homemakers on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. New members are welcome.
