Sophie Turner Just Threw Major Shade at Diplo for Live Streaming Her Wedding to Joe Jonas
Sophie Turner just threw some not-so-subtle shade at Diplo for live streaming her wedding to Joe Jonas.
She said if it weren't for that, they probably would have kept the marriage a secret.
There's been some half serious, half jokey beef brewing this week between Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, and Diplo. Basically, Joe said Diplo live streaming their Las Vegas wedding earlier this month "ruined it," and Diplo responded by saying the only thing that ruined the wedding was Joe's outfit. Sophie just addressed the whole thing.
She gave an interview with Porter where the writer noted that the Vegas wedding was supposed to be private, to which Sophie responded, “But it’s tricky when people live stream it,” and apparently, Sophie raised an eyebrow as she said it. LOL, you can almost feel it ("...") in that sentence.
She went on to clarify that it's kind of funny, but if it were up to her, she would have kept the whole thing a secret.
"It would have been better if no one had known, but I actually think it was funny,” she said. “Maybe not forever. I think at some point I would have had to stop saying ‘fiancé’, but yes, I would have kept it a secret."
"Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that’s how it should always be. It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the food. It’s about being husband and wife, and being dedicated to each other forever.”
Okay, yes, sure, it's not *technically* about the dress or any of that, but if you're legit counting down the days until Sophie and Joe's second wedding in France, you're not alone.
