Snyder’s of Hanover Is Selling a 5-Liter Beer Keg With Pretzels, So You’re Set for Oktoberfest
Since our hopes of attending Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany will have to be on hold for another year, we’ll just have to bring the celebration to us. Snyder’s of Hanover is making sure you have plenty of beer and pretzels, which are staples of the celebration.
The snack food company has partnered with Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. to complete your at-home Oktoberfest celebration. Snyder’s Pretzel Keg consists of a 5-liter keg of the beer brand’s Marzen Style Oktoberfest brew and a 27-ounce canister of Baked Pretzel Rods that’s stacked on top. That’s enough to keep you sipping and munching for many, many days (or just one, depending on your speed).
The limited-edition keg will be available for $49.99 beginning on Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. You can buy it on SnydersPretzelKeg.com or visit Captain Lawrence’s taproom in Elmsford, New York while supplies last. If we were betting people, we would put money down that these won’t last long.

The mini keg comes with an easy-to-work nozzle, so it’s as simple as grabbing your favorite chilled beer glass and releasing the brew. You can expect the beer to have notes of toasty bread, honey, and a hint of chocolate. Oktoberfest (even as a party of one) just got so much better.
