Six Flags Will Give You A Bunch Of Money If You Survive 30 Hours In A "Slightly Used" Coffin
Because it's officially fall, which means almost time for Halloween (!!!), Six Flags is hosting a Fright Fest competition that is borderline morbid, but also just so freaky that it sounds fun. On October 13, Six Flags will host a coffin competition that requires participants to spend 30 hours lying in a "slightly used" coffin. What fun!
The name of the game is six people will lay in their own 2-by-7-foot coffin for 30 hours for the chance to win $300 and their very own coffin. Because Six Flags isn't a monster, they're letting participants take bathroom breaks every six hours and will provide all meals, drinks, and snacks, which basically means you stand to profit from the coffin competition even if you don't technically win. To make things more entertaining, Six Flags will have phone charging stations so you can play "Monster Mash" on repeat until the other competitors give up.
It all sounds straight forward enough, but if more than one person makes it through 30 hours in a glorified box, there will be a raffle to determine the winner, which I guess is fair? The winner will also take home two 2019 Gold Season park passes, a Fright Fest prize package, VIP Haunted House tickets, and tickets to ride the "Freak Train."
Unfortunately, this competition is only held at the Six Flags in St. Louis, Missouri, but if you want to participate, you have to register by October 3.
