'Sister Wives': One of Kody Brown's Kids Is Changing Their Last Name

One of Kody and Christine's six children will no longer be attached to the family name.

Christine and Kody Brown's daughter, Gwendlyn Brown, is giving up her last name. 

The Sister Wives star, 21, revealed that she would change her name when she marries her fiancée Beatriz Queiroz.

The reality star revealed the news in a Youtube video where she unboxed her Creator Award plaque after hitting over 100,000 subscribers on her channel. 

"It's addressed to Gwendlyn Brown, but since I'm getting married soon, I had the name tag, it says 'For Gwendlyn Queiroz,'" she revealed before showing off the plaque honoring her for her achievement.

"That's what I'm going to be in, like, five months, less than five months. It's coming up," she said of her upcoming wedding date.

The TLC star noted that her fiancée has been looking forward to her receiving the plaque since she began her vlog. "She was like, 'I want that plaque so bad,'" Brown said of Queiroz, who could be seen sitting on the couch behind Brown in the video.

Queiroz proposed to Brown in Nov. 2022 after just eight months of being together. Brown took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, writing, "i'm engaged!! ????" alongside a carousel of photos.

The first two snaps capture Queiroz and Brown sitting next to each other on a blanket in the woods that was covered in rose petals and candles. The third and fourth photos were taken by a sneaky photographer who captured the special moment through some brush in the woods–how sweet.
