Singer Michael Feinstein Relists His Historic Los Feliz Mansion for $18.9 Million
Singer and five-time Grammy-nominated entertainer Michael Feinstein has relisted his Los Feliz, California, mansion for $18.9 million. The self-styled "Ambassador of The Great American Songbook" and his husband, Terrance Flannery, decided to put their historic mansion back on the market after extensive restaging. The home was previously listed at $26 million in April 2018. According to the Los Angeles Times, Feinstein purchased the home in 1998 for around $2.5 million. The 15,391-square-foot manse previously served as the Russian Consulate from 1935 to the early 1950s, and since then has hosted some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The stately Tudor Revival-style home is a magnificent edifice, situated 15-feet above street level, surrounded by lush greenery and meticulously manicured gardens. With both ocean and city views and exceptional privacy, the mansion is the only of its kind in the area.
The home is listed by Ernie Carswell of Douglas Elliman in association with Tom Postilio and Mickey Conlon of Elliman’s New York office. Mr. Carswell is co-listing the property with Dorothy Carter and Michael Orland of Keller Williams.
