Calvin Klein’s New Andy Warhol Collaboration Will Make Your Home Pop
Andy Warhol fans can now honor the artist on their beds and dinner tables in addition to their walls-and that's just how the pop icon would want it.
Calvin Klein partnered with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to create a line of throw pillows, blankets, and dinnerware featuring graphic portraits of actor and director Dennis Hopper and publisher Sandra Brant.
Hopper, a friend of Warhol's, is famous for owning-and shooting-Warhol’s Mao painting during a fit of paranoia. The two bullet holes increased its value when it later sold at Christie’s.

Brant and her then husband Peter worked with Warhol on the 1970’s film L’Amour, in addition to multiple art publishing projects. The couple’s publication company purchased Interview Magazine following Warhol’s death in 1987. The collaboration comes one week after Interview Magazine, which Warhol started in 1969, announced it was shuttering its doors after nearly fifty years.

The four-piece dining set comes in collectible packaging inspired by Warhol's brillo box artwork. Andy Warhol was an avid collector of fiesta dinnerware, using it in his daily life. Part of his collection is on view in multiple time capsules at the Andy Warhol Museum of Art in Pittsburgh.
The pillow and blanket are made in conjunction with Pendleton Woolen Mills and are fully reversible. The pieces aren’t exactly cheap-but they'll hurt your wallet less than an original Warhol work.
