Sharon Stone, 64, is feeling 'gratefully imperfect' in topless poolside photo
Sharon Stone is full of gratitude.
The actress and activist, 64, was clearly having the best day ever on Sunday when she left little to the imagination for her 3.2 million followers in a sexy topless photo by the pool.
“Gratefully Imperfect on a Perfect Day,” the caption read. In the photo, Stone is seen hanging out poolside, her breasts partially covered with a striped towel. Her radiant smile is on full display as she enjoys the warmth of the sun on her face.
But the single mom of three wasn’t alone in her gratitude.
That same day she posted a picture of her eldest child, Roan, 22, whom she adopted in 2000 with ex-husband Phill Bronstein before the former couple divorced four years later. In the shot, Roan is flashing his equally radiant smile while relaxing with a dog. His mom captioned the photo, simply, “Roan Stone.”
Following Stone and Bronstein's messy split in 2004, she adopted two more sons on her own: Laird, 17, and Quinn, 16.
The actor has a lot to be grateful for. Despite her immense success in Hollywood, Stone has routinely stated that being a mom is her proudest accomplishment.
“I’m most proud of being a mom,” she told InStyle in 2020, adding that “the most badass thing” she’s ever done was to pick herself back up after multiple personal and professional setbacks to “continue with my goal as a parent to raise my children well.”
Having experienced nine miscarriages due to an autoimmune disease and endometriosis, Stone has said in the past that raising three sons on her own puts life into a grander perspective.
“I tell my kids, “You're going to have lots of friends in your life, but your family will be yours for a lifetime,” she told AARP magazine last year. “You won't always talk to each other. But even then, you'll love them. And if you need someone, that's who you'll call."
"I'm loving raising my kids,” she added. “I’ve made humanitarian causes and my children much more my priority than the Hollywood scene, being liked and getting movie parts. Motherhood didn't come easily. It came lovingly to me by angels. We're a happy and lucky family."
