Sharon Stone is feeling super proud of her eldest son these days.
The actress, 65, took to social media this week to celebrate her 23-year-old son Roan with a rare photo of him posing shirtless and showing off the intricate tattoos inked onto his chest.
"Proud of you @roanjosephstone," Stone captioned the post shared to Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 27, while also applauding her son with the words, "Well done."
It wasn't exactly clear why the Basic Instinct star was feeling especially proud of Roan, as she didn't detail any specific reason in the post.
However, some of her followers in the comments wondered if Stone's pride came from the jewelry her son was sporting in the photo, as many users recognized the gold pendant necklace around Roan's neck to resemble a Jewish Chai Necklace, which features Hebrew symbols that translate to mean "life," per the Israeli Center of Judaica.
"Displaying his chai loud and proud I think. ??" one fan theorized in the comments.
"love the chai necklace ??" someone else added.
Other fans insisted that Stone needed no specific reason to show a little pride for her son, with one user chiming in to say, "It doesn't matter she's proud and that's great ??."
"A mother can be just proud of her son. ??," someone else chimed in.
And Stone certainly has a lot to be proud of, as she is also a mom to two other sons: Laird, 18, and Quinn, 17, whom she adopted in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
The Total Recall star adopted Roan with former husband Phil Bronstein in 2000 after she had been struggling to conceive children.
