Shania Twain Turns 58 With 'Grateful' Message and Video
Man! Shania Twain is feeling one year older.
The powerhouse country songstress expressed her gratitude for another year of life this week after ringing in her 58th birthday on Monday, Aug. 28.
To celebrate the big day, Twain shared a heartfelt message on social media along with a video montage featuring some of her best on-stage moments from throughout the past year.
"Today I’m celebrating another trip around the sun ??" the singer-songwriter wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, where she called herself "so grateful for a wonderful year" and "excited for what’s ahead."
Alongside the sentimental clip, which featured Twain singing her hit song, "You're Still The One," she gave some more context about how much that particular track has come to mean to her after all the years.
"This song becomes more and more about me and you guys—still together and still going strong!" the newly-minted 58-year-old wrote, before wishing herself, "Happy Birthday to me."
She also hoped for "lots of good health and happiness" for her followers, while adding, "(and thank you for all the birthday messages already)."
"I love you ??," Twain sweetly expressed to her fans at the end of her caption.
"Happiest of Birthdays Shania! May this upcoming year bring you even MORE sunshine! ?? ??" one of her followers gushed in the comments, while another added, "Happy Birthday to ' The Queen.'"
"Wonderful, you are indeed still the one! ??" another person added.
"May you have many more trips around the sun!" someone else chimed in under the post.
