Shania Twain's tour bus has been involved in a highway accident.
The incident happened in Canada while driving in inclement weather between tour stops scheduled for the Grammy winner's Queen of Me tour.
“One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain - Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon," Twain's management company, Maverick Management, told People in a statement. "Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals."
According to the management company, Twain, 58, was not on the tour bus at the time of the incident and was subsequently not injured.
"We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support," the statement went on, "We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”
Twain's Queen of Me tour kicked off earlier this spring in Spokane, Washington, and in the months since, the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" songstress traveled across the United States and parts of Europe performing her hits for dedicated audiences.
According to Twain's list of scheduled tour dates, she and the band last performed at the Canada Life Center in Winnipeg on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and the country-pop legend was expected to hit the stage at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon on Thursday, Nov. 9.
It remains unclear as to whether or not Twain's show will go on tomorrow as previously planned, as her most recent social media post regarding the tour was shared prior to last night's performance.
Wishing a safe and speedy recovery to all those injured.
