Hersheypark and Sesame Place have each established sensory-friendly dates for the coming summer and fall seasons.
Here's what you need to know about the sensory-friendly days at these amusement parks.
Sensory-friendly night at Hersheypark
Hersheypark's next "Sensory-Friendly Night" event will be held on Wed., Oct. 23.
Hersheypark is located in Hershey at 100 Hersheypark Drive.
"Unwrap your chocolate adventure with modified attractions, retail and food discounts, visits with Susquehanna Service Dogs and photos with Hershey’s characters, including our all-new Reester Bunny," read portion of the highlights of Hersheypark's sensory-friendly event. "Experience the free Hershey's Chocolate Tour ride, Create Your Own Candy Bar, and Hershey's Unwrapped modified for sensory sensitivities."
The tour ride is free; tickets for "Hersheys Unwrapped" are $13.50, and "create your own candy bar" experience tickets are $24. You can also purchase tickets to all events for the bundle price of $37.50.

Sesame Place has low-sensory days this summer
Sesame Place, located at 100 Sesame Road in Langhorne, will have two low-sensory days in June.
"Philadelphia will expand its accessibility program this June with the addition of Low Sensory Days on Sunday, June 9 and Sunday, June 23, to create a more inclusive in-park experience," read a statement from Sesame Place. "Traditionally high sensory experiences at the park will be altered to make them more accessible to those who require or prefer low sensory experiences."
Sesame Place official said it will offer a "Low Sensory Dine with Elmo & Friends," which begins at 9:30 a.m., which will be followed by the low-sensory show, "Welcome to the Party," at Abby's Paradise Theatre at 12:15 p.m.

Sensory-friendly guides at Dorney Park, Six Flags Great Adventure
Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom and Six Flags Great Adventure each provide ample services for guests with low-sensory tolerance and special needs.
Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, located at 4000 Dorney Park Road in Allentown, has an accessibility site to help guide guests who have autism low-sensory needs.
Six Flags Great Adventure has an extensive accessibility website, with guides regarding wheelchair access, service dogs care and how to obtain a personal care attendant.
