Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift Reunited on Stage
Please welcome to the Taylor Swift Reputation World Tour stage Selena Gomez, who for the first time since 2015, performed with her good friend Swift during Swift's second show in Pasadena, California. The two sang "Hands to Myself" after Swift teased to the crowd that she was bringing "one of the realest and truest of the friends I’ve had in my entire life" to sing with her:

And after the song, in an exceptional moment, Gomez gave a emotional and personal speech about how much their friendship meant to her to the Rose Bowl crowd of 60,000 people. Gomez told them, with Swift smiling alongside her:
"Are you guys having a good night? I have to say thank you to my best friend of about 12 years, almost 13, and the reason why she has been one of my best friends is because this person has never ever judged a single decision I’ve made. She’s always met me where I’ve been. She’s encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about, and I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family because you’ve changed my life. And-she’s going to kill me after-but honestly, thank you for the bottom of my heart for supporting someone who I know is the most beautiful, strong, independent woman I’ve ever met. So thank you as a best friend."

Swift reciprocated Gomez's sentiment in the most public of ways, posting a sweet message to her friend for her 108+ million followers to see on Instagram. "To the person I could call at any time of day, who has been there no matter what... you absolutely KILLED IT tonight and everyone was so excited to see you," Swift wrote. "I love you, and 60,000 people at the Rose Bowl loved you too."
Gomez last performed in a stadium back in August 2016, right before she ended her Revival Tour early to take a hiatus and get treatment for her depression and anxiety. She made the choice last night to make her concert venue return with Swift. She was one of two guests, as Swift also had Troye Sivan sing with her.

Ahead of the show, Swift also shared footage of them at rehearsal-a rare but cute public look at their friend dynamic these days.

"We’re going to sing ‘Hands to Myself,’ an absolutely iconic bop," Swift announced in one clip.
"Yes, Taylor loves that one, and I love her for loving it," Gomez replied.
"It’s my favorite song."
"I know!"

Gomez was also spotted in the audience during the concert singing along to Swift's classic "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". What else would a best friend do?
