See Prince Gabriel of Sweden's Christening
The Swedish royal family went all out for Prince Gabriel's christening on Friday - and Gabriel's mom Princess Sofia completely stole the show in a traditional Swedish ensemble.
As People reports, Princess Sofia wore a red and white Swedish folk costume with touching ties to Dalarna, the province in Sweden where Sofia was raised and Prince Gabriel's Duchy, since he was given the title Prince Gabriel, Duke of Dalarna when he was born.
Other members of the Swedish royal family came together for the happy occasion, including King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel, along with Princess Madeleine and her husband, Christopher O'Neill. Also in attendance were Crown Prince Victoria's children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar.
All of the royals posed together for a family photo at Drottningholm Palace after the christening:

Prince Gabriel's godparents include Princess Madeleine, who is currently expecting her third child, Princess Sofia's sister Sara Hellqvist, friends of the couple Carolina Pihl and Oscar Kylberg, along with Thomas de Toledo Sommerlath, a cousin of Carl Philip, Hello Magazine reports.
But the picture-perfect ceremony wasn't without tears. Gabriel cried as Archbishop Emeritus Anders Wejryd performed the baptism while his older brother Prince Alexander took a tumble on the church floor during the service, according to People. Thankfully, both Princes quickly bounced back and happily posed for an adorable family photo after the christening:

Prince Gabriel was born on August 31, and the royals released his first photos back in October. Gabriel is sixth in line for the Swedish throne, after his brother Prince Alexander, who has been melting hearts since April 2016, and his dad Prince Carl Philip, who is fourth in line.
