See Pink Forget the Words to Her Song But Recover Like a Champ
P!nk brought her Summer Carnival to New York City last night, Aug. 3, but she forgot to bring some of the words along for the ride!
The "Trustfall" singer immediately messed up upon starting the very first line of the very first song of the evening, but she didn't let the mishap slow her down.
As two of her dancers unhooked her from the harness that allowed her to drop down to the stage from a mouth set piece mounted directly above it in her first aerial stunt of the show, things were off to a rocky start when her microphone failed to pick up the first few words of "Get the Party Started."
The volume rose halfway through the first line, blasting, "...on a Saturday night," throughout the stadium. "Everybody's waiting for me to arrive," she continued, but instead of singing the next line, "Sendin' out the message to all of my friends," she repeated, "Everybody," before pausing.

"Wait, what's the words?" she asked, looking around at the crowd immediately surrounding the stage, who seemed to help her out. She threw her hands out toward one audience member, nodding her head as she jumped back in with, "flashy in my Mercedes Benz."
"I got it!" she shouted excitedly, but then she skipped over "I got lots of style, check my," and jumped back in for, "gold diamond rings."
As she got back into the groove she shouted, "Come on!" at the enthusiastic crowd, later joking, "Who needs lyrics?" during a dance break.
Honestly? Not Pink. She didn't need the right words to hold her fans' attention or keep them on their feet, but was still an excellent sport about the whole thing!
The "So What" songstress has certainly been known to stumble over her lyrics in the past. While performing at Madison Square Garden just over five years ago, she also forgot the words to the second verse of "Who Knew," and just a few weeks ago lost some of "All I Know So Far."
During last night's show, she also went on to start the third verse in place of the second during "Try," and later fumbled during "I Am Here," though video of those two moments has yet to surface on social media.
But while she may have a hard time remembering her lyrics, she never forgets how to pull it all back together like a pro!
