The 2023 NAACP Image Awards are finally here.
After what may be historic levels of rain and snow hammered much of California on Friday, leading to the cancellation of the non-televised NAACP Image Awards red carpet, Saturday's celebrations got off on a much better—and drier—foot.

Several awards were already handed out before the televised portion, including Outstanding Breakthrough Creative in Television to Abbott Elementary star and creator Quinta Brunson, Outstanding Ensemble Cast for a Motion Picture to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information Program to Jennifer Hudson.

Queen Latifah hosted the 2023 ceremony on Saturday, with presenters including Jonathan Majors (the man of the moment!), Zendaya, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taye Diggs, Kerry Washington and more. Nominees including Angela Bassett (she really did the thing), Will Smith, Danielle Deadwyler (who should be a lock and who was incredibly robbed at the Oscars), Letitia Wright, Viola Davis (also robbed at the Oscars), Tenoch Huerta, Sterling K. Brown, Samuel L. Jackson, Janelle Monáe, Zoe Salda?a and more.
