A Secluded 200-Acre Ranch Just Outside of Jackson Hole Can Be Yours for $23 Million
Why settle for nosey neighbors when you could have unfettered privacy mere minutes away from a world-famous ski town? A $22.95 million residence listed by the Spackmans & Associates team at Sotheby’s International Realty in Wilson, Wyoming, provides epic mountain views of Sheep Mountain (aka the Sleeping Indian) and the Gros Ventre Range, only 15 minutes away from Jackson Hole.
With a trio of structures, the 199-acre property known as Gill Huff Ranch offers more than one place to relax. Built in 2023, the compound estate borders a national forest with an eye-catching main residence, guest cabin, and spa cabin. It was first brought to market late last summer with an asking price of $24.95 million, records show. And, after being taken off the market just two months later, the home has re-emerged for sale this month with a two-million-dollar price chop.

A private road leads into the secluded ranch, anchored by a sprawling residence in a sunny clearing just above a picturesque pond. Pitched standing-seam metal roofing and a rustic log-clad base punctuate the main house’s modern flair. There are three bedrooms throughout its 5,133 square feet.
A cathedral ceiling soars over the main living area, where one of over four fireplaces throughout the property is located between picturesque windows that frame verdant forest landscapes. Wood beams spill into the gourmet kitchen highlighted by Cambridge Blue cabinetry and oak floors. In the primary suite, one floor above, a wood-burning stove keeps things cozy, while a covered balcony overlooks the tree-ringed pond. Elsewhere are a home office and an indoor-outdoor sitting area with a two-sided fireplace.
The property’s accessory cabins have also been stylishly outfitted. The 800-square-foot guest home has two bedrooms and a full kitchen decked out with high-end appliances, while the 230-some-square-foot spa pavilion has a fitness area and bath, as well as a sauna and steam room. Just outside, a hot tub is a great spot for glowing sunset vistas among the ranch’s meandering stream and other live water sites.
Last year, late U.S. senator Herb Kohl’s Jackson Hole ranch came to market for $65 million. Though it offers less acreage, the property still up for grabs places owners in closer proximity to the town’s National Elk Refuge and the famous Jackson Hole Mountain resort.
