Saturdays with the Chef returns to Kingsport Farmer’s Market June 1

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL)— ‘Saturdays with the Chef’ will be back at the Kingsport Farmer’s Market this weekend and will continue every Saturday throughout June.

Local chefs will provide free cooking demonstrations featuring dishes made from produce sourced from the Farmer’s Market and offer creative and helpful tips. Free samples will be available at each demonstration, a release from the Farmer’s Market said.

Online exhibit showcases writings from ETSU’s first president

“We’re excited to bring in the summer season with this wonderful program,” said Market Manager Kristie Leonard. “The Kingsport Farmer’s Market is a great place to shop, but we also strive to be a place where people can learn something new too.”

Saturdays with the Chef will begin at 9 a.m.

Saturdays with the Chef is sponsored by Food City, Healthy Kingsport and the City of Kingsport.
