Sometimes (ok a lot of times) we crave cake. Chocolate cake, specifically. But a cake isn't something you can just whip up at a moments notice. It takes time, gathering all the ingredients, preheating the oven, mixing and stirring and folding. All for a bite or two of cake?
This is where the genius of mug cakes comes in to save the day. Minimal mixing, no oven preheating, and a "bake" time so short it seems too good to be true. I'm not sure who invented mug cakes, but wherever you are, thank you. You've saved us a lot of time. (And from eating way too much cake.)
This one is one of our favorites, the gooey layer of melted marshmallows on top makes it extra cozy. (And you know how we love s'mores!)
