Saquon Barkley’s 2-Year-Old Son Kept Interrupting the Super Bowl Press Conference To Ask a Classic Toddler Question
Saquon Barkley and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles were rightfully ecstatic about their Super Bowl win. The Birds beat the Kansas City Chiefs (who were on the verge of a historic three-peat) 40-22, and all the players, coaches, staff, and diehard Philly fans (We’re looking at you, Bradley Cooper!) were thrilled by the blowout. The only people who were … less than impressed, were the kiddos.
During a post-game press conference, Barkley sat down to talk with reporters and had both his kids with him. The running back shares 6-year-old Jada and 2-year-old Saquon “S.J.” Jr. with fiancée Anna Congdon, and the toddler had a lot to say.

Well, really he had one thing to say a lot.
“Where’d mommy go?” S.J. asked with a pacifier in his mouth while his dad fielded questions. His adorable little voice was picked up by the microphones, and it was so innocent and sweet. The little boy then looks all over the room while sitting in his dad’s lap and keeps asking, “Where’d mommy go?”
He didn’t want to know about how his dad managed to win his first-ever Super Bowl. He didn’t want to congratulate him on the epic feat. He just wanted to know where his mom was.
And that’s about as toddler as it gets. “Lol Dad you may have won the Super Bowl but mom is the star in that baby’s eyes ??,” one TikTok user commented on CBS Sports’ video on TikTok.
Followers were obsessed with Barkley’s ability to — in running back style — keep pushing through. “The way he can just block it out and continue with the interview – true dad superpower ??,” one person said. Another added, “Saquon not missing a beat while his kid’s talking is such a dad move ????”
If the roles were reversed, and it was Congdon in that seat, followers know how things would have panned out. “Everyone knows the mom move would have been to answer the baby without missing a beat while still responding completely to the reporter’s question & pulling a juice box & snack out of no where. ??,” one person said.
Fans also joked that Congdon must have run away. “Mom [was] like- football is over you are up!” another TikTok user joked.
Meanwhile, Jada got to ask her dad a question during the press conference and even joined him during an interview with Fox Sports. The little sweetie has been cheering on her dad all season long and showing her love with their special secret handshake and her tear-jerking voicemail.
While Jada does so much to build her dad up, adorable little S.J. is there to humble him in the most hilarious fashion. After all, Super Bowl, Shmuper Bowl! Where’d?! Mommy?! Go?!
