Sally Field Is Writing a Detailed Memoir About Her Life & Here's What We Know So Far
Have you ever wondered how Sally Field went from child star to Oscar-winning actress? Cue her exciting new memoir, In Pieces.
Grand Central Publishing announced today that it has acquired the rights to Field’s anticipated memoir, In Pieces, which will chronicle Field’s rise from teen star in Gidget to her more mature roles in Places in the Heart, Norma Rae, Lincoln and more.
In a statement, Field opened up about why she decided to extensively document her private life and revealed the memoir is about “the little girl that I was, about the teenager who backed into becoming a celebrity and about the craft that taught me to stand on my feet, a craft that helped me find my way out of a complicated childhood.”
In Pieces will be released in fall 2018, and we have a feeling it will be the absolute ultimate.
