—Sally Field was twice a contestant on The Dating Game. Her first appearance was on the show's primetime premiere Oct. 6, 1966.
—She turned down the lead role of Loretta in the romantic comedy Moonstruck, which went to Cher.
—Sally Field gets a shoutout in the theme song of the 1980s television series The Fall Guy: “I’ve been on fire with Sally Field, gone fast with a girl named Bo. But somehow they just don’t end up as mine.”
