The Royal Family of Monaco Welcomes a Baby Boy
While we're just wrapping up celebrations for the British royal couple in Windsor, congratulations are also in order for Monaco's royal House of Grimaldi.
Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo welcomed their second child on Monday, People magazine reports.
The new baby, whose full name is Francesco Carlo Albert, is the fifth grandchild of Princess Caroline, who is the eldest daughter of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III. Francesco will be tenth in line for the throne after his older brother Stefano, who was born in February of last year.
Casiraghi and Borromeo were married in 2015. Casiraghi, the nephew of Monaco's reigning Prince Albert, is currently seventh in line to the throne.
Caroline and Borromeo, the Countess Paola Marzotto, announced the birth in a brief official communique late Tuesday afternoon.
