Robert Wagner Seen in Rare Photo With Stefanie Powers for 94th Birthday
Stefanie Powers and Robert Wagner
Robert Wagner celebrated his 94th birthday with a dear friend by his side, snapping a memorable photo with none other than his Hart to Hart co-star Stefanie Powers to mark the occasion.
Powers shared the photo on her Instagram on Feb. 12, two days after Wagner's official birthday, with the latter sitting in a chair wearing a yellow jacket, vest, and bright smile. Powers stood behind him with a matching grin as the two held hands and looked at the camera.
She captioned the snap, "Happy Birthday (2/10) to our dear Robert Wagner. 94 and still going strong! Our latest Hart to Hart moment."
Fans of the Hart to Hart stars were elated to see them spending time together.
"I'm so happy for you that you were able to spend this time together...We are lucky that you are sharing this photo with us ??, and you are both looking so wonderful. Definitely a photo of the year ??," one wrote.
"This makes my heart happy. Always a joy to see you two together. Such a huge part of my childhood and many years after," said another, as a third complimented, "Jonathan and Jennifer Hart still look great after all these years??."
Many more stated how great the two looked and shared their love for both the actors and their landmark careers.
Wagner and Powers first met on the set of West Side Story, which starred Wagner's wife, Natalie Wood. Powers was reportedly only 15 years old at the time and cast as a dancer, although she was fired before she could actually appear in the film.
Years later, the two reunited to star together in the hit drama Hart to Hart, which ran from 1979 to 1984. The show revolves around a married couple who somehow find themselves working as detectives to solve various mysteries wherever they go.
After the show was canceled, Wagner, Powers, and more of the cast brought back the beloved characters for a series of TV movies in the 1990s.
