Robert Irwin's 'New House' Is Nothing Like Fans Expected

Robert Irwin is proving to have quite a sense of humor.
The Australian zookeeper, 19, recently had his fans cracking up after posting a hilarious house tour spoof video from the outback.
We knew he was outdoorsy, but Irwin's humble "new house" appeared to be even more rustic than fans expected, as he showed viewers around a decrepit abandoned structure that he jokingly tried to pass off as his current digs.
The video, uploaded to Instagram earlier this week, looked like a bad episode of MTV's Cribs, as Irwin cheerfully showed off all the features of his "house" as if it wasn't falling apart all around him.
He started off by opening up the "gate" to the property, which was really just a flimsy wooden fence that definitely wasn't functional anymore.
"Just watch the steps, I just had them put in," he quipped as he came to the front staircase, which had just a few rickety steps left. As soon as Irwin began climbing the stairs, he immediately broke through two of the wooden steps, nearly falling to the ground.
Once he made it to a sturdy stair and was able to reach the entrance, the video cut to the next shot of the conservationist as he sprawled out on a dirty cot inside the house.
"This is where I relax and retire after a long day," he told the camera, before inviting his followers to see the "al fresco area," which was just a room with empty floor-to-ceiling window frames.
"So nice when you don't have to worry about silly things like windows," he sarcastically added. "That airflow!"
But things got even funnier as Irwin came upon the kitchen, where he apologized for not tidying the place up a bit more.
"Sorry, I haven’t swept in here yet," he said, before using an old broom to sweep up just a small portion of the floor, which was still completely covered in dirt. He also tried to clean a broken-down appliance in the corner, which he almost knocked over in the process.
Irwin then took a cast iron pan off the wall and pulled a giant dead spider off of it before asking the videographer if he wanted something to eat—which the cameraman understandably declined.
"This is such a great spot to entertain," he further joked, while pointing to various spiders hanging on the walls. "These guys love it."
Taking viewers to the outside of the house, Irwin showed off his "bathtub" next, featuring a giant metal tub in the middle of the woods.
Finally, he showed off his bathroom, which looked more like an outhouse minus a door and a ceiling—and running water, probably.
"It's just a nice place sometimes just to sit and just enjoy the surroundings," he said, taking a seat on the toilet before the video ended.
"New house alert ??," Irwin joked in his Instagram caption. "Take an exclusive look at my new place!"
"Funny like his dad ??," one fan wrote in the comments, referring to the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin.
Irwin's sister, Bindi Irwin, 25, also took to the comments on the post, writing, "This is my favourite ?? So. Funny."
"Quality content! ????" one fan wrote while another fittingly added, "Hello MTV, welcome to my crib! Outback edition."
