Robert Irwin Fans Thirst Over Pics From Recent 'Croc Trip'
Robert Irwin has proved he's model material in new snaps taken during the family's 2023 Croc Trip—otherwise known as their annual research trips to the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, according to the Australia Zoo.
Several weeks ago, he shared a carousel of photos showing himself inspecting a crocodile, which included measuring it with a basic measuring tape and checking out the state of its claws, as part of this year's trip.
"Croc trip 2023 is off to an amazing start," he wrote at the time. "We have already caught new animals and are now tracking them using incredible telemetry technology!" He went on to explain how important it is to study the creatures in the wild. "The more we understand the secret world of the crocodile, the more we can do to protect them."
Earlier this week, he shared a series of outtakes from their time on the northeast peninsula of Australia, located about three-and-a-half-hours from the zoo by flight.
In the first, he appeared to be holding down a large branch, his muscular arms proving to be the main focal point despite the gorgeous wilderness behind him.
In the next, he held a pole above his head, looking down at the ground in concentration as his face was framed by the surrounding trees.
Fans were gobsmacked by the thirst traps, as many dubbed them.
"IM SORRY Since when did this become a thirst trap account???" one demanded to know, while another asked, "How is THIS an outtake???"
"Whoever is taking these photos knows EXACTLY what they are doing," someone else decided.
"Not Robert becoming an absolute unit in a year’s time," another observed.
"These shots are fire mate!!" said another.
