'Riverdale' Star Vanessa Morgan Announces She Is Pregnant
Congratulations are in order for Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan, who has announced she is expecting a baby!
The Toni Topaz actress, who famously starred in My Babysitter's a Vampire, had been keeping her pregnancy on the down-low but shared some photos of her pregnancy test and from her reveal party on her Instagram.
Alongside the photos, she wrote a lengthy caption that reads: "Was debating keeping this part of my life hidden but I knew people would see pictures eventually with my belly and I wanted you guys to hear it from me. I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news.
"I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January.
"It's almost like everything I thought mattered in this life has completely changed. We're here for such a greater purpose and life is so precious.
She continued: "I'm just so happy and can't wait to dedicate every day to being the best mommy I can be. 'I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be' – if you know you know."

Earlier this year, Vanessa married her other half, Major League Baseball star Michael Kopech, in a small ceremony attended by friends, family and co-stars.
A few months ago, the actress also revealed that, as the only Black main cast member on Riverdale, she was the lowest paid cast member on the teen drama. Showrunner Roberto Aguirre Sacasa apologized to her and said that they would "do better" for her and people of color in the future.
