Rita Ora Joins Ryan Seacrest as Cohost of ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2024′
ABC and Dick Clark Productions have revealed pop star Rita Ora will join television personality Ryan Seacrest to cohost “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024.”
Seacrest will host the countdown to midnight alongside Ora live from Times Square in New York City. In addition to Ora, television personality Jeannie Mai will cohost the Hollywood party for the West Coast, while actress and singer Dayanara Torres will return as cohost for the broadcast from Puerto Rico. The Puerto Rico broadcast will take place on the grounds of the Puerto Rico Convention Center at Distrito T-Mobile, Puerto Rico’s leading entertainment and nightlife complex.

ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023” was one of the most-watched New Year’s Eve specials for 2023. The broadcast attracted 13.8 million total viewers and averaged 4.1/29 among adults 18 to 49 last year. ABC’s annual New Year’s special drew in 17.9 million total viewers and hit a 5.3 adult 18 to 49 rating in the midnight quarter-hour.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024,” will air Dec. 31 live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. The show, which marks its 52nd year, celebrates the past year in music with more than five-and-a-half hours of performances. The formal list of performances will be revealed closer to New Year’s Eve. The program is produced by Dick Clark Productions, a subsidiary of WWD parent company Penske Media Corp.
Ora has kept busy in the latter half of 2023. In September, the singer announced a multiseason fashion collaboration with Primark. The Rita Ora x Primark collaboration marks Primark’s first-ever international collaboration, and draws inspiration from Ora’s personal style.
The first collection landed in Primark stores on Sept. 19, consisting of 169 pieces, with prices ranging from $5 to $70.
That same month, Ora also loaned her talents to the Invictus Games, where she was the closing ceremony performer.
