I can say from experience that nose-bonking into drops is one of the more fun moves you can do on two wheels, but it is daunting there is no question.

There is a definite sweet spot where you are perfectly balanced to drop into the feature. Unfortunately, one slight shift of your weight further sends you into an irreparable downward spiral that invariably ends poorly.
